Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Adam Lyal's Witchery Tour Party was a Scottish political party registered by Robin Mitchell in 1999, and deregistered in 2009. The "publicity-seeking"[1] party stood candidates in the Lothian Region for the Scottish Parliament elections, appearing a highwayman named Adam Lyal and pledging to "Wear clothes and white make-up to impersonate a highwayman hanged in Scotland in 1811 at all sittings of Parliament."[2] In 1999, Mitchell received 1184 votes. In 2003, Robin Bankhead received 964 votes and in 2007, Euan MacInnes[3][4] received 867 votes.
