Akira (English: Graceful Strength) is an upcoming Hindi action drama film directed and produced by AR Murugadoss under his banner AR Murugadoss Productions in association with Fox Star Studios.[3] It features Sonakshi Sinha and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles. It is the remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru (2011).[4][5]
The film's Principal photography commenced in March 2015[3] and is scheduled for a worldwide release on 23 September 2016.[6]
