The American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA) is an American international scientific society of physical anthropologists, based in the United States. It was formed in 1930, Morris Steggerda was one of its founding members. They have 1,700 members. They publish the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, a peer-reviewed science journal.
