Amirhossein Karimi is a center midfielder who plays for Gostaresh Foolad in the Iran Pro League.

He is currently on a season long-loan from parent club Sepahan, making 23 appearances to date for Gostaresh Foolad.

Born in Tehran, he is strong in the tackle, composed in possession and has regularly represented Iran at under-17, Under-20 and under-23 level respectively.

Amirhossein Karimi biggest achievement to date was partaking in the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2013. Playing a pivotal role in qualification from the group matches where Iran were then eliminated by current champions Nigeria in round 16. Also appearing on the score sheet with a spectacular 30-yard strike in the 1-1 draw against Canada in the final group stages.
