Bob Hope Airport-Hollywood Way is a future Metrolink rail station in the city of Burbank, California. It will serve Antelope Valley Line passengers who are travelling to Bob Hope Airport. It is eventually planned to serve California High Speed Rail, operating between Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), and San Francisco's Transbay Transit Center.[2] When completed the station will be located near the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Hollywood Way and a free shuttle bus will take passengers to the terminal located 1 mile away from the station site.[3]
In 2013, an environmental study was conducted as a prerequisite before construction could begin.[4]
Groundbreaking for the station was held on June 21, 2013 and is expected to open for service in early 2015.[3] A metro.net factsheet dated April 2, 2015, lists construction in July 2015 with operations in April 2016.[1]
