Bruce Daniels is an American computer programmer and business executive has worked for Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, Oracle, Borland, Sun Microsystems and his own start-up Singular Software, which created Mac database management software.[1] He is known for having been the lead programmer on the operating system for the Apple Macintosh,[2] and for being one of the original programmers of LISA, when he was still a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also programmed the Apple II port of Zork.[3]

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Soquel Creek Water District in Santa Cruz County, California serving in his second term as an elected official in 2010.[4] In 2011, he was named an ARCS Scholar (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) in Northern California. [2]
