Chicago Tonight is an evening television news program broadcast weeknights on WTTW in Chicago. Chicago Tonight reports primarily on local news and presents features showcasing local artists and events. The show began April 24, 1984[1] and was hosted by popular Chicago broadcast journalist John Callaway for fifteen years. He continued to contribute to the show until he died in 2009.

Monday through Thursday night the program is hosted primarily by Phil Ponce. On Friday, Joel Weisman hosts Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review a panel discussion with four journalists on the top stories of the week.
