Claude Clegg

He is currently the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity at Indiana University, where he served as the department chair of the history department from 2006-2010.
Clegg holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He has written several books, including An Original Man: The Life and Times of Elijah Muhammad, Troubled Ground: A Tale of Murder, Lynching, and Reckoning in the New South, and The Price of Liberty: African Americans and the Making of Liberia.
