Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Democratic Women's Federation of Germany (German: Demokratischer Frauenbund Deutschlands/DFD) was a mass organisation with representation in the Volkskammer which primarily fought for women's issues in East Germany.

Founded in 1947, it served as the de facto women's section of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED) and continued returning candidates to the Volksammer (although not a member of the National Front) until 1990.
