In 1586, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domenico_Fontana" class="extiw" title="en:Domenico Fontana">Domenico Fontana</a> erected an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obelisk" class="extiw" title="en:Obelisk">Obelisk</a> on Peter's Square in Rome. It took a concerted effort of 900 men and 75 horses and countless pulleys to erect this monument.
