Summary

This is a 1970 Ford Torino fastback, which Ford call SportsRoof. The Torino 2-door Sportsroof model, was marketed as a low price alternative to the GT Torinos and was introduced mid-year. Ford Torinos was a were built from 1968-76. It got a new 'coke bottle' shape for 1970, it was a lot more aerodynamic looking. Base model was the Fairlane 500, then the Torino, and top was the Torino Brougham, They were available in 4 door Sedan , 2 door Hardtop and Wagon. Also available was the 2 door Sports Roof or Convertible GT and the 2 door Sports Roof Cobra (lower level of trim but more power). Engines; 250 6 cyl, 302 and 351 V8s also 360hp 429 V8 on the Cobra, 370hp on Cobra Jet and 375hp on Super Cobra Jet.
