Restoration of the <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Therizinosauroidea" class="mw-redirect" title="Therizinosauroidea">Therizinosauroid</a> <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur" class="mw-redirect" title="Dinosaur">dinosaur</a> <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alxasaurus&action=edit&redlink=1" class="new" title="Alxasaurus (page does not exist)">Alxasaurus</a> elesitaiensis, here depicted with feathers. Since Alxasaurus close relative <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Beipiaosaurus" title="Beipiaosaurus">Beipiaosaurus</a> likely had simple, <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Hair" class="mw-redirect" title="Hair">hairlike</a> <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Feather" title="Feather">feathers</a>( based on <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fossil" title="Fossil">fossils</a> ), and scientists belive Alxasaurus also was covered with them. The basic restoration is based on a skeleton found <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.dinocasts.com/prod_productDetails.asp?ProductId=697">here</a>.
