Summary

Boeing 707-329, reg.nr. OO-SJA of Sabena in February 1961 with original short tail fin and no dorsal fillet. Sistership OO-SJB crashed and caught fire on February 15, 1961 while approaching Zaventem airport near Brussels. The flight came from New York Idlewild and was operated as SN548. All passengers including american art skating team, entire crew and a farmer on the ground died. The entire cockpit section of OO-SJA is preserved in the Aviation museum in Brussels
