File:Car stereo display.jpg
Summary
Sony car stereo showing 14-segment characters on a backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Note the tiny "nicks" in the uppermost and lowermost horizontal segments of the characters of this display, are not breaks and so the whole of these segments is operated at once. This is therefore only a 14-segment display arrangement. At the top left is a logo indicating that an ATRAC3plus CD is playing, created on Sony Sonicstage software.
