In the distance white cranes continue to work on the controversial new building for the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Parliament" class="extiw" title="en:Scottish Parliament">en:Scottish Parliament</a> near <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holyrood_Palace" class="extiw" title="en:Holyrood Palace">en:Holyrood Palace</a>, beyond which is the hill Arthur's Seat.
