Summary

Description

Interior view of the Innis House and the original damage sustained during the Battle of Fredericksburg. The Innis House was built around 1861 and owned by Martha Stephens, John Innis lived in the house in 1861. The home was lived in through 1970 when it was sold to the National Park Service, during restoration layers of wall board and wallpaper were removed revealing the original 1862 damage. August 2010.
