Summary

Memorial to the 450th Anniversary of the Catholic Church in Cambodia. The Stela was erected in 2005 at the Taing Kok village, Kompong Thom, the place where the Cambodian Bishop Joseph Chhmar Salas, his family and some other Catholic priests died before 1977 during the Khmer Rouge time. It remarks when Father Gaspar Da Cruz arrived to Longvek City in 1555 and was welcomed by King Ang Chan.
