The Temple of the Mother Goddess of the Yellow River, built in 2013 as a folk religious focus of a new residential suburb of the city of Qingtongxia, in Ningxia, is possibly one of the biggest temples in China. It is dedicated to the worship of 黄河女神 Huánghé Nǚshén, the mother principle of the Yellow River.
