The bridge is located on County Road 722 just west of County Road P, southwest of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragan,_Nebraska" class="extiw" title="w:Ragan, Nebraska">Ragan</a>. The picture was taken facing south (upstream). The <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truss_bridge" class="extiw" title="w:Truss bridge">pin-connected Pratt truss bridge</a> was built in 1899 by the Canton Bridge Co. and the Jones & Laughlin Steel Co. The bridge is no longer in use: the road has been routed just upstream (south) of the bridge, and the creek passes under the present road through a corrugated-metal culvert, visible in the picture. The bridge is listed in the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Register_of_Historic_Places" class="extiw" title="w:National Register of Historic Places">National Register of Historic Places</a>.
