VALLETTA, Malta (Dec. 5, 2011) The Armed Forces of Malta counter piracy vessel protection detachment demonstrates aerial boarding procedures during Eurasia Partnership Capstone (EPC) 2011. Participants for EPC 2011 include approximately 100 representatives from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Malta, Romania, Ukraine and the United States, who will focus on strengthening maritime relationships between Eurasian nations. Training workshops will range from maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, marine environmental protection and advanced network-enabled maritime interdiction operations (MIO).
