Summary

12 minute exposure of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dwarf_planet_candidates" class="extiw" title="w:List of dwarf planet candidates">dwarf planet candidate</a> <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/(55637)_2002_UX25" class="extiw" title="w:(55637) 2002 UX25">(55637) 2002 UX25</a> with a 24" <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RC_Optical_Systems" class="extiw" title="w:RC Optical Systems">telescope</a>. UX25 is about <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/apparent_magnitude" class="extiw" title="w:apparent magnitude">apparent magnitude</a> 19.9 in this image taken at 2009-11-19 06:30 UT. Note the 3 stars just left of center sort of point towards UX25. There is also a magnitude 16.5 star just below UX25. UX25 is approaching the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/limiting_magnitude" class="extiw" title="w:limiting magnitude">limiting magnitude</a> of a 12 minute ccd photo with a 24" telescope. Also visible in this image is <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asteroid_belt" class="extiw" title="w:Asteroid belt">main belt asteroid</a> <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2336">2336 Xinjiang (1975 WL1)</a> at magnitude 16.
