John Ackroyd (born 1868 in Heanor, England) was a footballer who played as an forward[1] in the Football League for Grimsby Town and Rotherham Town. In 1891−92 in a match for Grimsby against Lincoln City he scored 4 in a 6−1 victory.[2] He also played for Heanor Town.[3][4]
