Jorge Guillermo Borges Lugo (February 24, 1874 – February 14, 1938) was an Argentine writer, lawyer, and philosopher. He was the father of Jorge Luis Borges.
Biography
Borges was born in Entre Rios, Argentina to Francisco Borges Lafinur and Frances Ann Haslam. He was married to Leonor Acevedo Suarez and was also father of the painter Norah Borges. In 1921 he wrote a novel called El caudillo. He died in Buenos Aires on February 14, 1938.[1]
