Kim Jin-Ryong (Korean: 김진용) is a South Korean football player, who currently plays for DRB-Hicom F.C. .

Club career

Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i

He started his professional career in Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i in 2005. In the Hauzen Cup, which was held that season, he showed surprising plays and made a sensation. At that time, he was regarded as a rival of Park Chu-Young. But he got a critical injury and ended a play for K-League 2005.

Gyeongnam FC

He contracted with Gyeongnam FC on December 2005. He said he wants to play for his hometown club. He made a good form, but in the middle of 2006 season, he got an injury and left the pitch so long time. Pre-season of 2007, he joined team's winter training in Brazil. But he got a critical wrinkle injury once more, and he could not play any matches for K-League 2007. In 2008 season, he finally came back in the pitch and showed good plays for Gyeongnam FC Fans.

Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma

In January 2009, he completed the move to Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. He was traded with Kim Dong-Hyun, member of South Korea national football team. Because of this trade, Gyeongnam FC fans consured to Gyeongnam FC board. So Gyeongnam FC board made a decision to blank his back number for 2009 season. But Gyeongnam FC fans as ever miss him.

Gangwon FC

On 4 July 2011, He move to Gangwon FC.[1]

Pohang Steelers

On 6 January 2012, Kim joined Pohang Steelers on a season-long loan deal, including an option to make the switch permanent in 2013.[2]

International career

On the international stage, Kim has played for the 2004 Summer Olympics qualification as a member of South Korea U-23 and the 2005 East Asian Football Championship as a member of South Korea .

On 31 July 2005, he made his international debut in a 2005 East Asian Football Championship match against China PR.
