Beyond Limits Known is a rugby union clothing company, which established in 1997 in the city of Manchester, England.[5][6] The brand opened its office in Australia in 1999.[7]
The company had a dual base, with one head office in Rochdale, England and the second based in Labrador, Queensland, Australia.[7]
Kooga Australia (now BLK) was on license from the UK until 2007 when they purchased the rights for the Kooga brand in the areas of Australia only.
KooGa Australia re-branded to BLK (Beyond Limits Known) in 2011 and severed the ties with JD Sports. The KooGa and BLK brands are now competitors in the sportswear industry. BLK have since expanded globally with offices in Australia (QLD, NSW, SA, WA, VIC) and the UK.
They also have distributors in the following countries; France; Ireland; Japan; Malaysia; New Zealand; Papua New Guinea; Solomon Islands; South Africa; United Arab Emirates and United States. [8]
Kooga New Zealand still holds exclusive license for NZ since 2006 and reports directly to principal in UK.
