Michael Taylor (born February 15, year unknown) is best known for his work as a writer for both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. His DS9 credits include the episodes "The Visitor", "Things Past", "Resurrection" and "In the Pale Moonlight", which was controversial for challenging some of Star Trek's utopian ideas.[citation needed]

In the third season of Ronald D. Moore's re-working of Battlestar Galactica[1] he joined the crew as a supervising producer and writer.

Taylor also worked as a producer and writer on the USA Network series The Dead Zone. In 2002, Michael Taylor was nominated for a Nebula Award, which is given by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, for writing a Dead Zone episode entitled "Unreasonable Doubt".[2]
