South Carolina Highway 261 is a state highway in the U.S. state of South Carolina. It runs 117.4 miles (188.9 km) between Kershaw County to Yauhannah in Georgetown County.

Route description

South Carolina 261 starts to begin at US 521 near Boykin in Kershaw County and US 701 in Yuhannah in Georgetown County and concurrents with US 521 and US 52.

History

Three U.S. National Historic Landmark, the Millford Plantation, Borough House Plantation and Church of the Holy Cross, are located on the highway in the High Hills of Santee region of Sumter County.
