Sahibzada Farooq Ali (born September 5, 1931)[1] was the ninth Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan.[2] He was elected from the city of Multan. He belonged to Toor Tribe and was originally from the Wayanwali village[citation needed] near Ghakhar Mandi, Teh Wazirabad.

Career

Ali was the head of the Information and Public Relations department and the Arts and Culture department for Multan and Bahawalpur before going to the parliament.
