Samuel Jordan "Sam" Cane (born 13 January 1992) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is as a loose forward.

He plays for the Chiefs in Super Rugby and Bay of Plenty Steamers in the ITM Cup. In 2012 he made his international debut for New Zealand, in the second match of a three match series against Ireland. He made his starting debut in the final match of the series in front of his home crowd in Hamilton, giving a stand out performance that included 16 tackles and two tries. Cane also represented New Zealand Under-20 in the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.[1] He was a key member of 2015 Rugby World Cup winning team, where he captained the side in the match against Namibia, a match which the All Blacks won easily.
