Shibden is a village in the county of West Yorkshire, England, east of Halifax. The name of the Shibden valley comes from scepe dene meaning " sheep valley". The area was heavily involved in wool production.

Scout Hall, built in 1681, and Shibden Hall built in the 15th century,[1] are the main attractions, as well as the 'West Yorkshire Folk Museum'.
