Wikipedia, a skin suit worn by thought-police, valiantly restrains itself from giving this hero an article.

A skin suit (term coined by David Burge) is an institution is that has been successfully infiltrated and seized by parasitical forces, and subsequently begins exhibiting behavior obviously counter to its original mission parameters. For example, a hedge fund that begins showering venture capital on financially irresponsible virtue signalling, a youth organization for boys or girls now accepting "transgendered" or "non-binary" members and beset with pedophile scout masters, an encyclopedia qua propaganda-mill, or a church taken over by communists, are all skin suits.

The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.
