The Embi mole-rat (Tachyoryctes spalacinus) is a species of rodents in the family Spalacidae endemic to Kenya. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, moist savanna, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and heavily degraded former forest.
