The Television Writers Vault is an online marketplace within the television industry used for scouting and selling original TV formats, concepts, and intellectual properties to produce as new television shows. It is the first website to deliver new show ideas from people outside of the industry, resulting in successful productions by major networks. 2012 saw the global broadcast of two reality television concepts discovered from the site; Saw Dogs[1] (aired on Discovery Channel, TV4 Sweden, and OLN) and Deals From The Darkside (aired on SyFy,[2] A&E Australia,[3] OLN, UKTV). 2014 saw the premiere of Kim of Queens on Lifetime TV, whose star, Kim Gravel, was discovered pitching her own concepts at the TV Writers Vault.

The service was created and developed by former Merv Griffin Entertainment development executive Scott Manville.[4][5] In addition to providing a showcase for programming ideas, it also offers educational content for new TV writers and creators on the subjects of creating and pitching new TV show ideas.
