Teresa Tomlinson (born February 19, 1965) is the current mayor of the United States city of Columbus, Georgia.[1] Tomlinson replaced Jim Wetherington as Columbus mayor and is the first woman to hold the office.[1]
Tomlinson graduated from Chamblee Charter High School in Atlanta in 1983. She earned her bachelor's degree in government and economics from Sweet Briar College in 1987. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 1991.[2]
