Uldarico A. Alviola

Uldarico A. Alviola (1883–1966) was a Filipino Visayan novelist, one of the most important Cebuano language writers. His pseudonyms included Artagnan, Sikatuna, and M. Anabell.Also a distinguished lexicographer who made numerous claims on the origins of words,[1] he was the editor of Ang Suga Magazine in Cebu Normal University, and several other Spanish language publications.[2]
In 1962 he received the LUDABI award for his contributions to Cebuano culture. He was also once a Deputy Governor of Cebu, one of the provinces of the Philippines.[3]
