Valeriu Tița (born 22 April 1966) is a Romanian football coach. He is the former manager of Syrian club Al-Ittihad Aleppo with whom he won the AFC Cup in 2010 and former manager of the Syrian national team. He is currently the manager of the Emirates team Al Sharjah. During his playing career, Tița played as a midfielder in his home-town team FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin and Corvinul Hunedoara until 1993 when he moved to Morocco to play for Olympique de Casablanca under head coach Ilie Balaci where he won the Moroccan football league and the Arab Cup Winners' Cup in the 1993–94 season. In 1994–95, the team became vice-champion of the Moroccan league. He then spent a few seasons with Maghreb de Fès before becoming a manager.
