The Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier is a Junior Ministerial position in the Government of Victoria. It is the only Junior Portfolio in the Victorian Government to sit in Cabinet. The portfolio's main responsibilities are to assist and advise in the running of Cabinet and to assist the Premier in the performance of his duties. The position was previously known as the Parliamentary Secretary of the Premier and Cabinet. The current Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier is Colin Brooks.[1]
