Vivian Gornick
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Vivian Gornick (born 14 June 1935 in The Bronx, New York City)[1][2] is an American critic, journalist, essayist, and memoirist. She was a reporter for the Village Voice from 1969 to 1977.[3] Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Nation, The Atlantic Monthly, and many other publications. She has published eleven books; the most recent, The Odd Woman and the City, was published in May, 2015.[4] She teaches writing at The New School. For the 2007-2008 academic year, she was a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University. In the 2014-15 academic year, she was the Bedell Distinguished Visiting Professor in Nonfiction at the University of Iowa.[5]
