Watford Borough Council is the local authority for the Watford non-metropolitan district of England, the United Kingdom. Watford is located in the south-west of Hertfordshire, in the East of England region.

Dorothy Thornhill MBE (Liberal Democrat) is the Elected Mayor of Watford. She was first elected in May 2002, was re-elected in 2006 and again in May 2010. There are 17 directly elected mayors across England.

Since 1999 Watford has been divided into 12 wards.[1] Each ward has three councillors who are elected for a four-year term. Following the 2012 election the political make-up of the council is: Liberal Democrat 24 seats (including the elected mayor), Labour 11 seats, Green 1 seats, Conservative Party 1 seat

Wards

Watford consists of twelve wards.[1]

Column-generating template families

The templates listed here are not interchangeable. For example, using {{col-float}} with {{col-end}} instead of {{col-float-end}} would leave a HTML "div" (division) open, potentially harming any subsequent formatting.

dagger Can template handle the basic wiki markup {| | || |- |} used to create tables? If not, special templates that produce these elements (such as {{(!}}, {{!}}, {{!!}}, {{!-}}, {{!)}})—or HTML tags (<table>...</table>, <tr>...</tr>, etc.)—need to be used instead.
