Wyoming Attorney General

The Wyoming Attorney General is the senior legal officer of the State of Wyoming. The Attorney General is appointed by the Governor.
The 36th and current Attorney General is Peter K. Michael. Michael was named the acting Attorney General on July 22, after his predecessor Gregory A. Phillips resigned to serve as a federal judge. Michael was promoted to the position permanently on September 6, 2013.[1]
