The Truther Top 20s list series project, (aka TT20), intends to clearly list the basic top 20 assertions and/or rationales, rightly and/or wrongly, why Truth Seekers, truthers, historical revisionists, skeptics, conspirophiles, tin foil hatters, deniers, etc, believe what they believe. To just cover the basics these simple lists may actually feature fewer or greater than 20 assertions that ideally include evidence, criticisms, refutations, clarifications, and other notes. Maybe one day even a quantitative method or system may be implemented to provide helpful ratings.

Goals

The Truther Top 20s list series project goals are to make it easy to understand, to simply present a short list of the basic fundamentals of each "conspiracy theory", and present the good, bad, and ugly pros and cons to each argument, and make it accessible to the common person, letting them make up their own minds for themselves, with good leads for further inquiry.

In our fast-pace short attention span rat race world where sound bites are all people can digest, this may be a part of the antidote for our consumerist war-mongering corrupted culture. And we sure need solutions and for sheeple to wake the flock up.

InfoGalactic non-encyclopedic wiki-project

On April 1st (no pun intended), 2018, User:JasonCarswell started this non-encyclopedic wiki-project. It's worth including this explanatory notice to the InfoGalactic community:

Why is this project on InfoGalactic.com?

This is a living example of what the InfoGalactic wiki and encyclopedia can offer that Wikipedia and others can't or won't. Without mass revolt and a revolution the censorship on Wikipedia, Quora, Facebook, YouTube, Google, Twitter, etc. will continue to only get worse. InfoGalactic can be a censorship-free haven and alternative to other social media sites. Obviously it's not like Facebook but it's not like Wikipedia either and to compete InfoGalactic needs to offer something more, and not just freedom from rigged rules that censor. InfoGalactic needs participants and community - and this may be one way. Not everyone will have a project like this. Perhaps people will keep, share and collaborate on journals, screenplays, novels, etc. and there may be no end to how they might utilize their personal space in the User pages.

Additionally, the more that people are active on InfoGalactic projects, the more they'll contribute to the free speech encyclopedia.

All help and constructive criticisms are very welcome and I look forward to discussions about any of these ideas on my interactive project user sub-pages, discussion pages, and on my own user discussion page.

From a September 2015 Voices From Russia blog post found with a DuckDuckGo image search (copied here), understood as a thumbnail this bold iconic image clearly represents and even states the topic title, making it perfect to start the SaidIt TT20:9/11 post.

On December 10, 2018, User:JasonCarswell started a new Reddit-style "sub" on the alternative information SaidIt.net platform, titled "Truther Top 20s, Quick Reference Talking Points On Serious Matters". The "Truther Top 20s" project is now a cross-platform collaborative effort embracing the best features of both, now bridging the voting social news forum SaidIt with the deep-wiki tools and encyclopedia of InfoGalactic.

The Truther Top 20s SaidIt sub outline states:

Truther Top 20s, Quick Reference Talking Points On Serious Matters

This is not a typical Reddit-style project, nor a normal encyclopedic article.

Too much good information is drowned in disinformation, misinformation, and random information intentionally mixed into a confusing disorganized mess without contextual clarity. Develop, summarize, and simplify core fundamentals here into curated fundamental bullet points to help newbies and pros alike. The simple truth is hard to deny.

These summary lists of bullet points will be openly editable in this channel's wiki in a basic form and with deeper context and hyperlinks on the freely editable uncensored InfoGalactic wiki. The InfoGalactic wiki can further list the pros and cons, weaknesses and strengths, contradictions, counter-positions, and deeper levels, with citations and references, to further back up any statement, or to call out why it's invalid, how it has flaws, or that it needs further support.

  • On any topic start a post titled "Truther Top 20s : [topic title]" with a link to a good iconic clear representative image for your topic. Do not create new posts on existing topics, though please discuss it if you feel a fork is required. Other videos, images, links, etc. may be linked later in the comment discussions, and/or InfoGalactic may host images but sadly they fail occasionally. Emulate the "9/11" thread.
  • Comment and discuss as you see fit.
  • Add links in comments to internal SaidIt or external sites related to the topic.
  • Edit the Truther Top 20s basic wiki here on SaidIt.

We all can curate and manually keep these lists somewhat cross-synchronized and updated.

Truther Newbie Crash Course

Similar to the Truther Top 20s lists, the Truther Newbie Crash Course list series project, (aka TNCC), intends to simply present a short list of highly recommended media on the basic fundamentals of "conspiracy theories", to make it easier to understand, to introduce uninitiated common "normie" people to the ideas, philosophy, history, and context of Truth Seekers, truthers, historical revisionists, skeptics, conspirophiles, tin foil hatters, deniers, etc - and fully explain why many believe the entire world's "authorities" are utterly corrupted.

While it's not necessary to have a black belt in Trutherism, it certainly would help to be familiar with many of the concepts within the Truther Top 20s lists. Fortunately the Truther Newbie Crash Course takes the liberty of condensing hundreds of thousands of books, documentaries, and other media, with years upon years of study, through mountains of information, disinformation, and misinformation, intentional or accidental - mining for the golden nuggets of truths, aggregated into a short list curated for your convenience in your busy life. It's an evolving best attempt at a Trutherism-in-a-nutshell summary that includes only the best of the best. It's as brief as it can be to still comprehensively cover the fundamentals about the full spectrum dominance of the ruling class over all our lives.

The aim is to present the good, bad, and ugly pros and cons on the many sides of "official" narratives, while being accessible to regular folks and letting them make up their own minds for themselves, ideally with excellent follow-up leads and resources (ie. this Truther Top 20s) for further individual inquiry, exercising critical analysis and independent free thought. Perhaps one day we may even develop a quantitative method or implementable system to provide helpful ratings.

In our fast-pace short attention span rat race world where sound bites are all people can digest, this may be a part of the missing broad contextual antidote for our socially engineered consumerist war-mongering corrupted culture. We sure need solutions and for sheeple to wake the flock up.

  • Borders exist and people are forced to align with one side just because they were born there. I support voluntary association, and borders go strongly against this.
  • US citizens have to pay taxes even when in other countries, and one actually has to pay a huge sum of money to renounce citizenship.
  • US citizens are barred from many investments due to excessive regulation, such as the ICO of Blue Frontiers.
  • US federal taxes are way too complicated. To be fair, I believe people should boycott them at this point anyway.
  • US federal taxes pay for many terrible things, like the military which greatly contributes to climate change and has done many terrible and largely pointless wars.
  • The internet is still run by corporations, and people have yet to move to meshnets like the Hyperboria and Yggdrasil.
  • Many websites require using a legal name, which I prefer to avoid as I do not like my legal name at all and was never called by it anyway. Even if I legally changed it, many sites would not accept a name without a last name.
  • Censorship of the internet in schools, libraries, and authoritarian countries like China. In schools, this has greatly decreased my productivity in the past as there are often blocks even on educational websites. In libraries, this has made it hard to use most things which are not on port 80 or 443 such as SSH and IRC in a period where my father could not pay the internet bill and I used an extender to get the library Wi-Fi.
  • Climate change and collapse, which I am preparing for.
  • Terrible water quality and bad air quality. Terrible water quality has made a filter I was using need to be replaced extremely quickly.
  • Not enough green energy.
  • Somehow, there is not a single company which provides environmentally friendly shipping, nor any company I can find which sells cargo or passenger ships which run on wind and/or electricity!
  • Air travel with crazy security is terrible as well as bad for the environment.
  • The only ways to go from the Americas to Afro-Eurasia without air travel are to take the Queen Mary II from the eastern United States, to get a ride on a cargo ship, to go on someone's boat journey in a small boat, or to bring your own boat. South America is not connected to North America by road because of the Darién Gap too, making it even harder to go to/from there than in North America. How is it possible that there is this few options???
