10BASE-FP (10BASE Fiber Passive) is one of the segment types of 10BASE-F, a family of fiber optic standards for 10 Mbit/s Ethernet.[1] This standard called for a non-powered signal coupler capable of linking up to 33 devices, with each segment being up to 500m in length.[1][2] This formed a star-type network using the centralized signal coupler. There are no devices known to have implemented this standard.[1]
