Reginald Doherty defeated Malcolm Whitman 6–1, 3–6, 6–3, 6–0 in the All Comers' Final of the 1902 U.S. Men's National Singles Championship. William Larned defended his title by defeating Doherty in the Challenge Round 4–6, 6–2, 6–4, 8–6. The event was held at the Newport Casino in Newport, R.I., USA.
