René Lacoste defeated Bill Tilden 11–9, 6–3, 11–9 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1927 U.S. National Championships.[2] It was Lacoste's second U.S. Championships title and his fifth Grand Slam title overall.[3]
