The 1960–61 Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team represented University of Cincinnati. In overtime, Cincinnati defeated Ohio State 70–65 for the National Championship in Kansas City. The Head Coach was Ed Jucker.

Regular season

In the Crosstown Shootout, Cincinnati beat Xavier by a score of 89–53. The match was held at the Cincinnati Gardens.
