The 1967–68 season of the Philadelphia 76ers was their 15th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and their fifth since moving from Syracuse. The 76ers finished the regular season with a record of 62–20. In the playoffs, they eliminated the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, 4 games to 2. In the Eastern Conference Finals. The Sixers blew a 3–1 series lead and lost to the Boston Celtics in 7 Games. After the season Wilt Chamberlain was dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers and it would be 9 seasons until they won a single post-season series.
