The 2001-02 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 32nd season of NBA basketball in Cleveland, Ohio. Under new head coach John Lucas, the Cavaliers got off to a horrible start losing nine of their first 11 games as they lost 50 games for the third straight season with a 29-53 record, finishing 7th in the Central Division. Lamond Murray was the team's leading scorer and Andre Miller averaged a double-double in points and assists per contest.
