The 2006 PIHA season was the fifth regular season of the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA). The 2006 Founders Cup Playoffs began on May 20, 2006 and concluded on June 17, with the Philadelphia Growl defeating the Littleton Fire to win their second straight Founders Cup.

Events

The 2006 PIHA All-Star Classic was hosted by the Philadelphia Growl at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA. The Philadelphia Growl hosted the All-Star Classic for the first time. Brian Yingling (West) of the Pikes Peak Prowlers won the All-Star MVP.

If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:

  1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
  2. The greater number of games won.
  3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs.
  4. The greater differential between goals for and against.
