The 2012 PIHA season was the 11th season of operation of the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA). The Suffolk Sting defeated the Parker Prowlers in the Founders Cup Finals 4–1 to win the Founders Cup. It was the first Cup win in Sting's franchise history.

Regular season

Standings

Each of the 10 teams played a 24-game season of an unbalanced schedule. Teams played all games against conference opponents. The top four finishers from the Eastern Conference qualified for the playoffs, and the top three finishers from the Western Conference qualified for the playoffs, making a total of seven playoff teams. Playoff seeds

After the regular season, seven teams qualified for the playoffs. The Suffolk Sting were the Eastern Conference regular season champions and Best Overall Record Trophy winners with 46 points. The Parker Prowlers were the Western Conference regular season champions, finishing with 40 points.
