4-Fluoroethcathinone is a substituted cathinone and structural analog of flephedrone (4-fluoromethcathinone). Its effects have not yet been fully characterized.

A forensic standard of 4-fluoroethcathinone is available, and the compound has been posted on the Forendex website of potential drugs of abuse.[1]
